Terms and refunds

These terms cover the Recipe Lab at filmrecipelab.com, its Chrome extension, and the Send to camera unlock, run by Snapsbytaha (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). By using them you agree to these terms. Contact: snapsbytaha@gmail.com.

The Recipe Lab is an independent project. It is not made, approved or supported by FUJIFILM Corporation. Fujifilm, FUJIFILM, X-Trans, film simulation names and camera names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

The preview

The Lab's preview imitates the camera's processing. It is close, but it can't match your camera's JPEGs exactly in every case.

Send to camera

• Send to camera writes settings to your camera's custom setting slots over a USB cable. It changes only the slots you choose, and backs them up first so you can undo.
• Warranty: Fujifilm states that connecting your camera to third-party software may void its warranty. You use Send to camera at your own risk.
• It works in Chrome and Edge on computers where the browser can reach the camera over USB. Some settings, cameras or firmware versions may not accept every value; the page tells you when the camera refuses something.

The $4.99 unlock

• The Send to camera unlock is a one-time payment, not a subscription. It is linked to your Recipe Lab account and works on any computer where you sign in.
• Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added where required.
• "For good" means for as long as the Recipe Lab runs. If we ever shut it down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice.

Refunds

If Send to camera doesn't work with your camera, or you're not happy with it, email snapsbytaha@gmail.com within 14 days of buying and you'll get a full refund. A refund removes the unlock from your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of recipes and photos you post. By sharing to Community you let us show them on the site. Don't post things you don't have the right to share. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

No guarantees

The Recipe Lab is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Snapsbytaha isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our total liability for anything related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
